Community Guidelines

Reelix is built on creativity, authenticity, and mutual respect. These guidelines exist to keep our community safe and rewarding for every creator and viewer.
These guidelines apply to all content posted on Reelix — videos, captions, comments, profile information, and messages. Violations may result in content removal, earnings holds, or account suspension. We rely on our community to report violations using the in-app report button.
Our 8 Core Rules
Be Authentic
Share your real talent and personality. Don't post content that is misleading, impersonates another person, or misrepresents your identity. Authenticity is what makes creators thrive on Reelix.

Be Respectful
Reelix is a place for everyone. Treat all users with dignity regardless of their background, beliefs, or identity. Harassment, hate speech, and bullying have no place here.

- •Bully, harass, or threaten anyone
- •Use slurs or hate speech
- •Post content that demeans a group of people
Keep It Safe for All Ages
Reelix is accessible to users aged 13 and above. All content must be appropriate for a general audience. Explicit sexual content, nudity, and graphic violence are strictly prohibited.
✓ Do
- •Post family-friendly content by default
- •Use content warnings for mature themes
✗ Don't
- •Post nudity or sexually explicit content
- •Glorify self-harm or suicide
- •Share graphic violence
Respect Intellectual Property
Only post content you have the right to share. Using copyrighted music, video clips, or images without permission can result in your content being removed and your account penalised.

- •Get permission before using others' work
✗ Don't
- •Post full copyrighted songs without a licence
- •Re-upload another creator's videos without credit
- •Use watermarked stock footage commercially
No Spam or Artificial Engagement
Authentic engagement makes Reelix valuable for everyone. Artificially inflating views, likes, followers, or gem earnings through bots or coordinated manipulation is strictly forbidden and will result in permanent account suspension.

- •Buy or sell followers
- •Operate multiple accounts to manipulate rankings
No Dangerous or Harmful Content
Do not post content that promotes dangerous activities, illegal substances, or behaviour that could cause real-world harm. This includes challenges that risk physical injury.

- •Add safety disclaimers to stunt or physical content
- •Promote mental health positively
✗ Don't
- •Promote illegal drugs or weapons
- •Encourage dangerous viral challenges
- •Share content glorifying self-harm
Protect Privacy
Respect the privacy of others. Do not post personal information about other people without their consent, and do not record or share content of people in private settings.

- •Blur or censor identifying details if needed
✗ Don't
- •Share someone's private address, phone, or documents
- •Post intimate images without consent
- •Dox or expose private individuals
Honest Monetisation
If you receive gifts or promote products, be transparent with your audience. Paid partnerships must be clearly disclosed. Do not use deceptive tactics to solicit gifts from viewers.

- •Falsely claim emergencies to solicit gifts
- •Deceive viewers about product endorsements
Enforcement
Our trust & safety team reviews reported content and takes action proportional to the severity of the violation. We use a combination of automated detection and human review.
First-time minor violations receive a formal warning and content removal.
Repeated violations or moderate offences result in a temporary account suspension (1–30 days).
Violations involving manipulation of earnings will result in gem earnings being withheld pending review.
Severe violations (CSAM, coordinated manipulation, hate speech) result in immediate and permanent account termination.
Appeals: If you believe your content was removed in error, you can appeal the decision within 14 days by contacting support@reelix.app with your username and the content in question. We aim to respond to all appeals within 5 business days.
